A little history about us, the Bilingual Education Institute (BEI) has been providing English and foreign language classes in Houston for over twenty-five years. BEI is Houston’s top accredited language training center. Our Total Activity Approach uses pair or group-work activities, role-plays, problem-solving exercises and so on, to encourage a high level of student participation. Classes can be held at your location or at the main BEI campus in midtown Houston.
Our Language classes are generally two hours in length and can take place during the work day or after hours until 9:00pm. Saturday classes are also available from 9:00am-12:00pm. The focus of our Workplace Training courses is real-life communication, with an optional component of workplace safety. We would also be delighted to customize the course to students’ needs, specific to the industry.
As we begin the enrollment process for our students, we administer a comprehensive one hour and fifteen minute placement evaluation. The evaluations may be scheduled individually or as a large group. This evaluation measures a student’s language abilities in reading, writing, conversation, and comprehension. Using the scores from the assessment, we place the students at the appropriate level. We have 5 levels, Pre-Beginner to Advanced available for enrollment.
The course may be designed to meet and individual’s needs or a group setting, while offering you the flexibility to select what is best for your employees.

Flexible Scheduling: Classes may be scheduled Mondays-Fridays during operating hours from 8:00am-9:00pm and Saturdays from 9:00am-12:00pm
Minimum of two hours/session (55 minutes of instruction each hour)
Books and Materials are level/industry dependant
For group classes, a maximum of 10 students/class may be registered.
$75.00 Registration fee for all new enrollees (non-refundable)
