This course is designed to assist women in increasing their knowledge of the American English language and culture in a female-only environment. Course subjects will include a focus on conversation in practice. Lessons and activities will cover vocabulary, listening comprehension, grammar, reading, writing and cultural awareness. Students in more advanced levels may also receive instruction in topics such as accent reduction and idioms.  Women will become more comfortable in day-to-day settings in which English is the primary language, assisting in creating an overall safer environment for the students.

FirstClass interactive e-learning and online resources available for full time students. This tool allows students to access their lessons online, with ability to submit their homework, to chat with their classmates, to exchange emails with their instructors and communicate in a group setting.

 High-tech Classrooms:

 At BEI all our classrooms are equipped with Starboards that adds new ways in producing a more interactive classroom. This opens up a new world of possibilities for involving students in interactive games and learning activities and well as sharing multimedia language and cultural input.

With these useful new tools, a projector displays a teacher’s computer desktop onto an electronic interactive white board, where students can manipulate what is onscreen at the touch of a finger. You can write vocabulary words and sentences with electronic pens, fill in blanks, click on multiple choice answers and so much more. This tool allows students to become autonomous and the classroom learning experience becomes more student driven, allowing for better interaction between students and instructors.
